Is your child curious about science? The Science Mates program is an extra curricular program offered to all students in Years Prep to 6 and is a wonderful opportunity for students to get excited about Science. It is a community club for children at Mundingburra State School and their families. Activites change each term and can included after school experiments, weekend family BBQ's, guest speakers and sleepovers.
They cover a wide range of concepts that interest children and cater for all ages. The Science Mats program has been operating for more than 10 years, encouraging fun and particpation for the whole family.
Parents are encourage to join the Science Mates Committee (a sub branch of the P&C) to share and put forward ideas for future activities. Membership forms are available at the office.
