Arrivals and Departures
Before school
Parents are advised that children should not arrive prior to 8.30 am. All students should be at school by 8.45 am. Students who need to arrive earlier than 8.15 am, the following arrangements are in place:
- Mundingburra Outside School Hours Care (MOSHC) is available from 6.15am. Fees can be reduced by claiming Child Care Benefits through Family Assistance office. Outside school hours care is a non-profit making program. Please contact them on (07) 4725 2218.
After School
Students should be collected as soon as possible after 3.00 pm unless students are involved in an after school program.
Once dismissed, students are to proceed home immediately. Students should assemble at the departure area at the front of the school and be seated quietly awaiting collection. There is no playing games or on play equipment during this time. Students who travel by bus wait at the bus loading areas for their transport. Parents collecting students in private vehicles are asked to ensure that students are collected shortly after dismissal time. All children must be out of the school grounds by 3.20 pm unless under staff supervision. Students who are still at school at 3.30 pm are retained in the office where administration staff contact parents to arrange alternative supervision.
Parade
Weekly school assemblies are conducted in the covered play area. The leadership is provided by students from classes on a rostered basis. Parents are invited to attend any of these important gathering of children.
Assemblies are run at the following times and classes are expected to be at the hall by commencement time.
Year 3 to 6: Thursday 9.00am (even weeks)
Prep to Year 2: Thursday 9.00am (odd weeks)
Whole school: Thursday 9.00am (First and last week of each term)
