In the 1960’s our Parents & Citizen’s Association (P&C) was formed as they recognised a need for additional support for the school.
Since that time, the P&C have been responsible for many upgrades to the school. Including covered play areas, playground equipment, technology for classrooms, tractor and other tools for grounds maintenance, establishment of the Tuckshop and Outside School Hours Care.
All parents with children attending the school, as well as other interested citizens, are eligible to join the P&C and attend P&C Association meetings. Monthly meetings of the P & C are held on the 4th Thursday of the month at 6pm in the Performing Arts Centre (PAC).
The P&C Association exists to work alongside the teaching and administrative staff to create a fun school environment where all parties can participate and enhance the school life of the children and wider community. Our aim is to leave the school a better place for our being there and a better place for future generations. Focus is on fun and fund-raising with profits returned to the school through grants, donations, sponsorship's and the like. Activities include movie nights, disco nights, Mother’s/Father’s Day stalls, tuckshop theme days, raffles, fetes, family fun nights and many other events. We can always use a helping hand, so please contact us. We are also responsible for the daily running of our school Tuckshop and Outside School Hours Care.
